As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I still don't understand how those work. Now, I started a new username after I got married, so that may be part of it, but I was a really frequent poster on the Knot for a long time, and I never got a single dot below my name. How long do you have to be a member to start earning points or become a non-"newbie"?
Not like I care or anything...
