Re: Post funny/happy/amusing/cute non-fat related things here!
We made Easter candy today.
It made someone very happy.
That's how he smiles if I ask him to do it for the camera. lol
And now that I think about it, this candy is sort of fat-related. Sorry.
Candy and cute kids are totally allowed in this thread
I'm making easter candy too! Because Edith likes dark chocolate (SO her mother's girl!) and nothing good comes in dark chocolate. I got molds for eggs and bunnies.
Also, I got baby clothes, bottles and a couple of baby things from our storage unit today, and I'm all nostalgic and sappy.
My bff visited me this weekend and went home today.. last night we drank wine and played board games..
If I fits I sits!
This is P drunk on milk. He just finished eating and DH snapped this picture. I can't wait to show it to his girlfriends when he's in high school!
In the second one, he's waiting for his shots, looking just as forlorn as the nurse when I told her I wanted him vaxxed on a traditional schedule.
"You know, technically, he doesn't have to have any of his shots until he's five, right?"
Cue HAB's head exploding.

Is this Warhorse?
DH and I are watching it tonight too!
Also, we went out to eat at a brewery last week, and the waitress paid one of the kids with us a compliment. Liliana looks at her and asks, "Where's my compliment?" S-a-s-s-y.
So are we!
Also, you have some cute kids there, AW.
I took the kids to the post office the other day, and as we approached the (white) post master, my son (almost 3) yells "Look! It's President Obama!" We kept telling him that he was wrong, but my son refused to believe us. He also really liked President Obama's scale that he weights mail on. Oh, and while we were in line he groped the man in front of us. Toddlers are really embarrassing.
You can have shiit. His face, otoh, stays with me. And so do his Jabba the Hutt rolls. When I leave him in the swing, I feel like I need to tie a scantily clad princess to his chair.

Thanks! Your DD's hair is adorable! She has some serious style already!!
At least she's modest. lol

Thank you! I call it, "My three year old took a safety scissors to her hair and we got lucky!"
Yes! Haven't seen it yet. Dev doesn't wanna see it tho! Oh well. She can read something!
From what I hear the whole toddler cutting their own hair is a rite of passage. I hope I luck out like you did when it happens.
Dylanite's siggy GIF kills me. I sometimes find myself sitting and watching it for minutes on end just cracking up.
And, also, there are some seriously cute kids in here.
Benjamin just spent 10 minutes sitting on his potty reading a book. Nowhere near potty training, but he thinks it's funny.
My Chart My Nest Bio
kelbrian - my sister did the same thing with her DD at that age. She said it was such a sanity saver because the morning hair fights were wearing her down.
The pre-salon pic is hilarious. That mullet needs to end up in her wedding slideshow one day. lol
Abby's first time in my IL's bounce house thing
Easter egg hunt!
The church I go to recently put down mulch, and as we were leaving a little boy said "Mama, is the stink what makes the plants grow?" It was so cute.
Bonus happy story: My cousin teaches 1st grade and as they were preparing to leave for spring break they did a group hug, and one little boy was crying because he didn't want to go a whole week without seeing my cousin. That story melted my heart.
The best happy news I have, is that I'll see DH this weekend (we're working in two different places)
