Sudden knee pain on my run tonight
I went out for 3 miles tonight with my husband. I was feeling really great and then he said he wanted to do a 9/1 run/walk ratio. After that first walk my knee starting feeling pulled. After the second walk, I couldn't take it. Every step was an extreme amount of pain. My husband told me to start being hard headed and just walk home. The pain is on the outside of my right knee. I don't need new shoes, I cross train, I haven't increased my mileage lately. What gives?? I am so frustrated. Any ideas what it can be? I iced when I got home, but I still feel a pull in it. Should I not run tomorrow even if it's feeling better?
