AW: New vinyl wood plank flooring PIP
My home makeover has really been dragging along and I needed some gratification to keep me motivated. So I decided to go ahead and start laying the vinyl wood plank flooring that's been sitting in my dining room for over a month now.
It is super inexpensive stuff from lumber liquidators and I could not be happier. Installation was easy, only requiring a tape measure, straight edge, marker and regular scissors. I wish the color was a teeny bit lighter, but overall it has the rustic look I wanted. I installed over our existing wood laminate which was in good shape, I just didn't care for the color and style. I think this vinyl wood plank looks just as good as laminate and many of the engineered I've seen. Here's the before:
And now(should look a million times bettern once the baseboards and board & batten are up)

Looks great! I'm always surprised at how good the peel-and-stick "wood" looks. Does it feel like wood underfoot? Or is it rubbery?
And omg, I love your corgie!
DH keeps bugging me to get one.
