I was looking at the recipe you posted in the BU today, and 1/2 c. sesame oil seems like a LOT! Is that a typo? There's no unit on the canola oil measurement, so I was wondering if it's supposed to be 1/4 c. canola oil ad 1/2 Tbl. of sesame oil, or something like that.
Re: *cmarie*
Sorry about that! I just fixed it.
The original recipe does indeed call for 1/2 cup of sesame oil, and 1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil...which, I agree, is a lot! The recipe does make quite a bit, as it uses a whole box of pasta. (I halved the recipe for just DH and I, and we still had a lot leftover)
The author mentioned that she now omits the canola oil, which I think I will do next time, and just use sesame oil...1/2 cup should be plenty!
