PG update
I've been MIA, but wanted to update that my hCG levels doubled Friday, my boobs are already getting even more massive than they already were and I'm still eating like I'm going in for my last meal. Other than going to bed earlier and not being able to imbibe in a glass of wine or an ice cold beer, I'm feeling pretty "normal".
I'm going home to see family this weekend and tell my dad the news in person. He's a good ole southern boy and even though I know he's going to absolutely dote over this baby when he/she arrives, I am still so nervous to tell him I am doing this on my own. My mom has assured me that if he gets upset, it will just be because he's worried about me. I agree, but my dad can be a very intimidating person.

People are placed in and taken out of our lives for a multitude of reasons. My faith has me looking upward so I might stay on my path, forward to reach my future and to either side for the ones to walk near me on my journey.

And good luck breaking the news. Coming from someone who's been there, everything will be fine. Once the initial shock wears off everyone will start to get excited (and several people will be completely excited right off the bat - my aunt peed her pants when she heard the news!). And once that little baby arrives, no one is going to care how it got there.

Hilarious! I had them done about 4 1/2 years ago and cannot imagine how massive they'll actually end up. They were so swollen Monday that I took a picture and sent it to my BFF - she and I got a good laugh out of it.
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! May you have a happy and healthy 9 months!
And good luck telling your dad. Like PP have said, he might be upset at 1st but once the initial shock wears off, everyone will be overjoyed!
