Need recs for an auto litter box
Hi there,
We have 3 cats, and for my husband's sake I want to get 2 automatic litter boxes so he no longer has to scoop poop. With my back to back pregnancies he's been on litter duty for far too long.
I was wondering if you all have any good recommendations? We've discussed the catgenie, but DH just doesn't think it would be worth it since it has such a high initial cost + the cost cartridges.
TIA!

Re: Need recs for an auto litter box
I've been trying to get the CatGenie for years....never having to look at or touch poop again. It'd be fantastic.
One day I'll talk to DH into it. One day. Until then, it's scooping poop for me. Maybe he'll give in once I'm pregnant & unable to do the boxes!

I've had 3 littermaids and would never ever recommend them. I still had to scoop and if the machine decided to have issues the rake would keep moving back and forth making a lot of noise let me tell that noise scares the crap out of you at 3am. My cats broke all three of them.
