Yay..all of my Craigslist patience pays off!
So I've been wanting the Ikea Ektorp loveseat in white since we moved into our house. I want a little sofa for the sunroom for drinking coffee and reading the Sunday paper. It's a great value at $379. The only problem is we live 1.5 hours away from the nearest Ikea and shipping it isn't worth the extra money. So, I've been hunting around town for a white love-seat. No luck. For the past year I've been searching on Craiglist only to find stuff like this.
So, I gave up on my search on CL for a few months. Then Monday on a whim I looked on CL again and was about to close it down when "Ektorp" caught my eye. Sure enough there was a post for a practically new white Ektorp loveseat for 2/3 of the price. WHOOPEE!!! I just picked it up. This cute little med student bought it last year, but is moving and can't take it with her. It looks brand new. I'M SO EXCITED, I just had to share. I can't wait to buy some fun pillows for it this weekend. I am really thrilled w/ the quality of it. For the price it's really heavy and looks well-made.

Whoa you got lucky! If I were you I would've signed up for list alert with the keyword Ektorp! Glad it worked out without doing so!

I will take a day trip up there one day. The only problem is I can take my minivan, but would have to go without the kids so I could fit stuff in the back.

Nice! The other great thing about the Ektorp is that the white slipcovers are super-cheap, too, so you can replace them easily, if needed.
