Criminal Minds 4/4 SPOILERS

I couldn't watch the part when the unsub kept pouring water on the victim. I really hate those parts.

What did everyone think about the episode? (If you're currently watching it, thoughts on what you've seen?

Re: Criminal Minds 4/4 SPOILERS

  • Lurker here...hi all!

Yes I agree the drowning/torture scenes are horrifying, but I've seen worse on this show! If that's a phobia of yours, it must be horrible to watch (or peek through fingers) that.

Quick question, is that Robert England (Freddy Kreuger) as the old cop? If so, cool cameo!

  • After watching this show for years, I had to give it up last month.  The violence was really getting to me.  I miss Derrick though :)

I'm thinking about doing that as well, not sure if I could give up Derek and Reid though!

  • I thought this episode was a little hard to follow.. or didn't make a whole lot of sense. It was ok though. The water scenes were hard.. but that's what my iPad is for- distraction. Haha

Anyone else think that the casting of the un-sub seemed to be casted as an Edward Cullen look-a-like? My bf even asked that on his own. Haha it was just curious as someone who was kind of a mythological/ odd character who looked so much like Edward. Haha maybe i'm delusional though.

Oh yes I believe that was him, because as soon as I saw him I had a flash back of not wanting to go to the bathroom when I was little because I thought he was going to come up through the toliet and get me.  I can never get those eye out of my brain.

  • I love this show.

I think what made it even more scary was that the actress who played the mom was the vampire Drusilla on Buffy or looked a LOT like her.

The very last seen made me sad when the sister opened the door.

Me too. I had been hoping that she'd be able to join society and make some friends after all she'd been through.

I thought it was a very good episode in that it was so disturbing. The part that got me was that the girls arm had been cut off by her own mother. Yikes.

YES! The mother chopping the arm was sooo fricking sad. The brother was telling her it was a birth defect.

The last scene really creeped me out!  I actually thought it was going to be Robert English at the door - I just kept waiting on him to be a bad guy or something.  I guess because of his previous roles.

And the arm thing was seriously disturbing.  This episode gave me the creeps more than others, though this is still one of my fave shows on tv.
