Can I get some in put? I made roman shades for the kitchen, and I want to make another for our mudroom/laundry room. You can clearly see the window from the kitchen, so should I use the same fabric, or go with a different pattern that has similar colors?
PS.. please pretend like my kitchen is a soft, greyish yellow, not-smack-you-upside-your-head-green

Re: Matching shades??
Will the laundry room have the same "soft, greyish-yellow color" too eventually, or will it be a different color than the kitchen?
If a different color, I'd go with a different, but coordinating color scheme on the blinds in the laundry.
If it will be the same color as the kitchen, I'd probably go the same on the blinds as in the kitchen.
I would just do them all the same. It'll keep it cohesive. It could get choppy and busy fast otherwise.
Curtains are one place I like matchy-matchy and I'm about as mix and match as they come usually.
