DH and I have decided to go on vacation next month, sometime the week before Memorial Day. I'm off work May 21-28. Here are the options we've exhausted:
1. No cruises. They are almost all booked up anyway and I don't have a passport.
2. We have to stay in the US, because I don't have a passport and there's no way I can get one in like 6 weeks. So no Italy, Mexico, Bahamas, etc.
3. No Disney World. We just went there for our HM 5 months ago and we're Disney'ed out, lol.
4. No Atlanta. We just went there last month.
5. No beach. We live on the Gulf Coast, going to the beach is something you do on a Tuesday afternoon because you got off work early and you're bored, it doesn't count as a vacation, lol.
6. No mountain cabins. DH's allergies would not do well in the woods. He refuses, lol.
7. No NOLA. Much like the beach, we've been there and done that. I'm not opposed to spending some time in NOLA, but DH can't think of anything he'd want to do there.
HELP! I can't think of anything else that there is to do and every suggestion I manage to come up with gets shot down by DH or circumstance.
Re: Help us decide where to go on vacation (long and hard, lol)

Travel Adventures.
You've ruled out everything I would suggest :P
Hmmm, Miami, NYC, Denver?

FYI: you don't actual need a passport for a cruise. H and I have been on a couple and neither of us have one.
How about Chicago, Vegas, Seattle, Boston (sorry if any of those were included in the out of the question list. It was long.)

VEGAS!
Gambling, drinking, food, shows, shopping!! You've got it all!
How is this even a question? (Asks the woman who loves Vegas so much she got married there)

OMG, DH said pretty much exactly the other night: "maybe we should go to Chicago. DA BEARS!" LOL.
ETA: Thank you to everyone for the suggestions! I will keep them in my back pocket for the next time we decide to go on vacation. We also considered New York but the price tag was a bit much for a spontaneous trip. We will try to go there when we have time to plan it out and scope out some deals.
