Hi! My name is Sara, and my DH is Chris. I've been lurking here since we bought our home last May, and I've learned a lot from you ladies. I have a few questions about curtains...
My living room has 2 long windows, and a double window made of 2 small windows. Unfortunately, the blinds for the 2 long windows both broke (they were there when we moved into the house), one a couple months ago, and the second a couple weeks ago. It would be very expensive to replace the blinds for both of these windows, since they would have to be custom due to the size. I was planning on having blinds and curtains, but I'm now thinking about doing just curtains instead. I am used to blinds and curtains. What are your thoughts on blinds + curtains vs. just curtains? Which do you prefer? Also, if I only do curtains, should I do a sheer curtain plus a regular curtain, or just a regular curtain?
-How do I do curtains for the double window? It is 77.5" wide. Do I do four curtain panels and treat it like 2 separate windows? Most curtain panels seem to not be wide enough to only do 2 panels.
-I'm looking for curtains in any of these color combinations: yellow, yellow/gray, green, green/gray, or green/yellow/gray, and I haven't been able to find much. Preferably yellow or yellow/gray, and I'm looking for something modern with a pattern. These are the only ones I like so far:

Any other suggestions?
Thank you!
Re: Curtain Help
I would treat the double window as one window. Most standard, store bought panels are 54" wide so you should be able to use two panels to cover the 77" wide one.
Are blinds necessary for privacy or light filtering? If not, I'd just go with panels to flank the windows and leave them open all the time.
