Easter Menu

I need help with my Easter menu. It's just going to be me, DH, my sister, my mom, a friend and her 4 year sister. I really want to try these slow cooker pork ribs

And serve with potato salad, baked beans, and a salad?? Maybe a dip as an appetizer. What do y'all think?

And will probably have grilled cheese or hot dog stuff on hand for the 4 year old, in case she won't eat the ribs.

Re: Easter Menu

  • it sounds great especially with our warm weather!

But please don't feed that little one nitrates (in hot hogs) or anything processed.  I would seriously boil a chicken breast and shred it into bite-size pieces.  Have some applesauce and strawberries.  Maybe a sweet potato.

  • the menu sounds great!  and I think the hot dog is fine as a backup plan :)

A very occasional hot dog is probably fine, but the above poster is right - hot dogs are really not good for young kids. Do some research of your own on the issue if you are feeding hot dogs on a regular basis.
