Two faced BB cream?

Anyone try this? I got a sample from Sephora yesterday and tried it this morning...not bad. It went on matte and so far my face looks pretty good.  I did follow it up with my MUFE duo mat powder, which is what I've been using on top of each of the BB creams I've tried. Just wanted to get other's opinions on this if you've tried it.

Re: Two faced BB cream?

  • I *think* I like it. I'm on Day 3 of my sample, and so far, it's promising. I did break out the first day, but I have an on-going battle with peri-oral dermatitis, so it's very probable that the BB isn't the culprit of the breakouts (which are getting better already, and I'm still using the BB).

It is fairly matte, which I'm a little bummed about, I was hoping for a dewier look. It has better coverage than my tinted moisturizer (Dr. Gross 3-in-1 moisture), but isn't as moisturizing. I got the lightest color (Vanilla, I believe?), and initially thought it was too light going on, but it did actually adjust to my skintone within a minute or two. I did like that the fair shade wasn't horribly pink - the Stila and Smashbox ones weren't an option for me, since they made me look like the fourth little piggie...

I'm thinking this may be a good summer product, since it's a bit matte and not as moisturizing, but it's not going to cut it for the drier, winter months. Wish it had better sunscreen protection though :-(

If you like a dewier look/sun kissed glow, try Origin's VitaZing.  Not sure if it's technically a BB cream or not but I've been using it for the past 3 months and love it. It's a white colored cream that adjusts to your skin tone so there isn't any color matching required.  I've just been trying samples of BB creams to see if anything beats that one but so far none have come close. Don't think it has any spf though but I could be wrong.

  • I got a sample from Sephora last week and only tried once last Sunday. I thought it went on okay, and adjusted okay to my skin tone (was a little streaky on my neck, needed to blend a little better). But I didn't find it that moisturizing, and I still felt like you could see some of my uneven areas (nose, chin). And I have terrible dark circles, so I used a little of concealer on those. Overall I'd say it was okay. Didn't wow me. Maybe if I used it a few days in a row it would be better. I want to give it another shot.
