I got Nortrel 777 - my doc went over all the possible options and we decided that (ideally) this is the best for what I want - low enough hormone that I hopefully won't feel crazy, will help with ovulation cramps since there won't be ovulation, but high enough hormone that it will actually be effective as birth control.
Has anyone taken this particular pill?
Also, I got my period over a WEEK ahead of schedule this month - Sunday can't come soon enough.
Look with your special eyes.
Re: Update on bc foray
I semi-started mine an entire week early last month but it was just heavy spotting for a day, then nothing, then it really came on the right day. WTF BODY??
I've never taken that BC before, but I hope it works for you! Both of the kinds I took jacked up my blood pressure and made me psychobitch after about 3 months.
I haven't taken it but based on the name I'm guessing it's one of the pills that has different hormone levels by week? (The '777' makes me think that.) If so, those were the ones that made me more insane than the steady level pills... but I also got them about 10 years ago when it was Ortho Tri Cyclen or bust and that stuff hit you like a dumptruck full of hormones.
Hope it works for you!
Yep, feinic. Differing hormones - my doc said they replicate the hormone levels that are in your body, anyway, so it's not supposed to make me a raging hosebeast. We'll see how it works.
Last time I was on the pill, I took them for a grand total of 1 month and had a meltdown. However, now I have much better coping skills and am more even-tempered. Fingers crossed
