Sad doggers

My doggers, Beau and Pepper, are very sad right now.  They're currently baby gated and secluded in the kitchen, away from DH.  DH took a tumble last night on his mountain bike.  We had a 5 hour stay in the ER last night, and the doctor confirmed our assumption that he had broken his collar bone.  So we were all up (my parents, sweet things they are, drove down to sit with us) until around 1am last night getting him xrayed and medicated and situated and fed.  Poor thing...

Even worse is Beau though, who is whining like a small child because he can't jump all over his daddy.  He's too boisterous so we're on a strict gate-leash-outside schedule.  My silly GSP baby.  Pepper the whatsit on the other hand is as gentle as a lamb, but we don't want to make Beau more jealous, so they're chilling together :)

Re: Sad doggers

  • Yikes!  I hope your DH feels better soon!  If he's anything like my husband he'll be bragging out his "battle wounds" for the rest of forever.

I hope Beau feels less sad soon too!

  • Awww, those poor dogguses! They just want to help daddy feel better!

And poor DH!! My friend's BF broke his collarbone snowboarding a couple of seasons ago. Crappy situation! Hope he's feeling better soon! Healing dust ::sprinkle sprinkle::
