How to"boil" eggs for Easter coloring
I'm open to your easiest and non-green-yolk ways to boil eggs.

Place eggs in pot, cover completely with cold water and cover pot with lid. Bring pot to a boil over high heat. About 30 seconds after the water starts boiling, turn off the heat. Leave the pot covered and let sit 10-12 minutes. Drain hot water and run eggs under cold water for 2 minutes. Refrigerate.
This is the method I use to boil eggs every week and I never have green yolks.
Also, I would use older eggs (i.e. not just purchased today), so that they peel easier.

For "boiled" eggs, I preheat the oven to 325. Place the eggs inside of a mini-muffin pan and bake for 30 minutes. Using tongs, put the eggs in a bowl of ice water for 10 minutes after baking. Rub off any of the pale brown spots. Color. It is so easy and no gray yolks.

I baked out eggs for the first time this year. I'm never boiling again! Seriously, do easy! No gross yolks, the shells peeled easier, and the whites didn't get rubbery At all
