Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. Easter Dinner...Are you hosting or going out?

We are hosting but keeping it casual. We are grilling chicken, flank steak, making a veggie dish with bok choy or spinach or both. Our guests are bringing the sides. Only 4 adults and 2 kids.

  • We are going to a friend's house tomorrow but staying in and not hosting Sunday.
  • Going to SIL's.  there will be about 25 people.  I'm bringing a side and dessert.
  • going to MIL's - there will just be the 5 of us - she's cooking and I'm bringing a salad. 
  • hosting here - maybe 15

    ham, green rice, ramen cabbage salad, rolls, deviled eggs, rabbit food, bunny cake, and maybe banana pudding.

    ETA - DH is making some cheese and bacon jalapeno poppers, too.

  • Dinner at the IL's with DH's Aunt/Uncle and grandmother. We had big birthday festivities for DD last weekend so I may or may not bring dessert.
  • We're going to a friend's place for brunch and I'm bringing scalloped potatoes.

    After that we're going to my aunt and uncle's place and I'm bringing pie. 

  • My mom and dad are coming over here for Sunday dinner. Ham, turkey breast, mashed potaotes and gravy, corn, asparagus, and rolls!

  • Hosting about 15 people, we are celebrating next week. Making lamb, lemon potatoes, stewed green beans, spanakopita, pastitsio, grape leaves, Tzatsiki, salad, galatoboureko, tsoureki (sweet bread) and maybe stuffed peppers. Oh, and red eggs too.

  • We are doing Easter w/the In-laws this weekend... bland, boring food! But next weekend is Greek Easter with my family. There will be about 75-100 loud greeks celebrating w/Lamb, salad, stuffed grape leaves, spanakopita, pasta, and of course eggs and baklava! I can't wait... I think my H secretly wants to run and hide when my cousins chase him with the head and/or eye balls... bahahaha

  • We are going to Brunch Easter morning with my side of the family and then after DD's nap we will go over to the IL's for dinner.

  • I'm working all day so we'll be having leftovers on Easter. Tomorrow, though, I'm making vegan cinnamon rolls and cutting up fresh fruit for our Sunday morning breakfast. 
  • Going to my great aunts house who just happens to live where we moved. So does my great grandmother. My 2nd cousins will be visiting as well. So it will be an interesting Easter !

    Guests are bringing desserts (but I have a chocolate mousse pie just in case)

  • Dinner at the in laws this year. I am making 2 or 3 desserts. Still deciding as we speak....
  • My family has never been big on Easter, so we go to a friend's house. She's making ham and cheese mini sandwiches, roast beef (sandwiches, I think?), glazed carrots, tomato and mozzarella salad, potato salad and deviled eggs. I'm bringing a veggie and pita tray with hummus and some spinach and artichoke dip. I have no idea what dessert will be.

  • Baking a cheesecake and taking it to my parents' house tomorrow. Usually I'd bring one or two other things but I don't have the energy this year.
