1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My best friend, because she's F-ing fabulous.
2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? It's a tie between Molokai and The Kommedants Girl. Both historical fiction, and both had you drawn into the story. I think it helped that I had been to both places (Hawaii and Poland) so I could just imagine myself there in the setting. I couldn't put either book down.
3. Where was your longest road trip? Hmm... Portland to SF? Beautiful drive, made it a few times.
4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Boring. Met the XH at a coffee shop when he just came up to me and started a conversation...everyone else? Bars or online dating.
5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? What happens after?
6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? I had a party at my house while the folks were out of town. It got WAY out of hand...and was huge. Things were stolen (like my mom's jewelery box), pool furniture was thrown in the pool...place was trashed. Awesome. I was grounded for 3 months and owed my parents $1000. Which was alot of babysitting $ when you're a sophmore in HS.
7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? The National-Final Empire. AMAZING song.
1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My best friend. Her 30th is in June and I want her to have a much better one than I did.
2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? I love to read but I don't really have a favorite book. I usually read and forget about the book. I don't really think too deep about them.
3. Where was your longest road trip? From Kansas to Orlando, FL when I moved there for three months in college.
4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Gosh, I've really only been on dates thru someone i met at a bar or online dating, so nothing too exciting.

For the Wednesday W(h)iners--the group of my friends that go out every Wednesday after dance for drinks/apps--because they're like my family here, they would all do anything for each other, and they're awesome.
2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? Hard to pick...Dracula is the first one that comes to mind. I just like fantasy books.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My dad...he is so generous to everyone around and never wants any recognition. Bout time we throw him a bash.
2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? The Road by Cormac Mccarthy. Was really dark and suspenseful.
3. Where was your longest road trip? Central IA to South Padre Island for spring break. Driving 20 hours home after a week long bender is pure hell.

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Mailbox baseball....not smart and restitution took all my summer spending $$$...but I deserved that.
7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? An oldie but goodie...Down In A Hole by Alice in Chains. Seem to be searching for that song on my ipod a lot lately.
2012 Reading Challenge
1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My mom who is awesome and helps me out so so much with DD. Actually, I am going to have to throw a party for her. Her 60th is next November.
2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? The Hunger Games trilogy was awesome!
3. Where was your longest road trip? I think it would have to be the road trip we took out west when I was a kid. We drove from Illinois and went all over the place....South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, etc.
4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Don't think I have a strange circumstance. Most have been online or friends of friends kinds of things. I did date a co-worker once. Is that strange enough?
5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? Will I ever meet the one and get married? I'm dying to know.
6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Hmmmm....I was a pretty good kid. I got caught ditching school. I drank and may have done a few other things, but I never got caught. Guess that doesn't count!
7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? Kelly Clarkson, Stronger. Am I gonna get flamed for that?

Uhm how about everyone. We could celebrate Saturday (or whatever day we want too) I don't really need a person or reason to throw a party. I kind of just do.

I really liked reading "Youth in Revolt" - It was entertaining. I also liked "Naked" - That was pretty funny too.

Why do men like Boobies? I've wondered this forever and for about a year I asked many men of different circumstance for their opinion. My favorite answer which wasn't really an answer was from the singer of (hed)p.e. "I don't really know ask god"

I'm not sure. I was a pretty good kid and my parent's were pretty laid back.

Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison (No, not like the ridiculous movie). I read it at 16 and it completely changed my view of the world. AMAZING BOOK for anyone to read, although probably way too heavy for the average teen.

We moved from NC to UT over the summer and drove 2500 miles.

When I was in college one night I drove off with my wallet on top of my car! It never turned up but a guy called me and told me he found my license. I asked him to mail it to me and he insisted on hand delivering it even though he lived like an hour away. When he arrived I invited him in bc I felt bad for the long drive. We chatted for a bit and after he left he called me to ask me out.

Will my son be able to live independantly and hold a job when he grows up

My mom caught me having sex

When I was 17 my BF cheated on me with a girl we were at the movies with (Yes I was there) I found out her BF's name from a mutual friend and told him and we hung out and started dating for 2 months lol

Will my youngest outgrow his painful shyness and the strange behavior and ticks that come with it.

Slept at my bf's house when I was 16 and lied and said I was at a friends house. Parents found out and I was punished for a month.
