So... I know I can't be the only one who has issues with my tail bone and most of the floor ab work in Pilates... can I? I mean, I have two mats under me, and my tail bone is digging in so bad I feel bruised! I have to completely stop half way through a couple of the positions because I'm rolling off my bone and in pain.
Any tips, tricks? It's not a bad form issue, its a boney A** issue, I've asked!

Re: Pilates and my tailbone
You should bring a towel for extra cushion. It won't look strange since so many people bring towels to pilates/yoga.
But honestly, are you sure you're tucking your tail bone under enough? If you're not, that could be the cause PLUS it means you're not getting the full workout you could be getting. A lot of time I just completely lift my tail bone up off the ground. It's absolutely brutal for the lower abs.
