I am super late at this,
But I just saw The Hunger Games, and I just have to debrief for a little bit.

I love Rue. Love her. I ugly cried when she died. Like snot-out-of-my-nose,-can't-regain-composure cry.
Really I loved the whole cast. They seemed to get it right. Sure not everything is going to be the same, but it was really close. Closer than Harry Potter in a lot of cases.
One of those "take-it-with-me" movies that I will be thinking about for the next few days.

Awe! I loved it too.
Rue is one of my favorite characters and I agree they did a great job with the cast.
Buy all three of them right away. You won't want to stop once you get through the first one long enough to go buy the other two. Might as well as be prepared.
