Poll: shower curtain length

Kinda silly but I just wonder if the length is similar to preferences for regular curtains. Mine used to skim but it was annoying because it got so dirty. Then it shrunk and it now looks like high water pants. lol

Re: Poll: shower curtain length

  • Mine is more than a few inches from the floor, but I wish it were more like an inch or two above the floor. We have a really high bath tub, though, so it's hard to find shower curtains long enough to cover it completely.

  • Our shower curtain rod is hung at a height recommended by the manufacturer, which leaves our shower curtain a little higher than I like.   It actually works out perfectly for the liner though, and I am used to the 'high water' look now.

Honestly, if it skimmed the floor like regular curtains it would make the liner too long on the inside, and I kind of like that it isn't in the way when I clean the floor in the bathroom.  For some reason, it would bother me in the bathroom, but my curtains skimming the floors and collecting dust bunnies in other rooms don't bother me.

This. I got used to it. It seems gross to have it touching the floor (why? no clue) but maybe that's because in my bathroom the toilet is right next to the shower.

  • If I remember correctly (seriously, this is not the type of thing I pay attention to) ours is maybe five or six inches above the floor. I'm giggling a little bit here (no offense). I'm expecting someone to now ask what the "rules" are for shower curtain height.
