PIP - Ugly corner of front yard transformation.....
I am so proud of myself! I am almost done building the rock wall, I think it looks so pretty and really makes my new Hyacinths pop! I'll be brining in a ton of dirt to back fill and then I will start planting my shade plants. So exciting!!

Re: PIP - Ugly corner of front yard transformation.....
Cutting small roots affects the tree's ability to take up water. Cutting large roots affects the tree's ability to remain standing. Dumping extra soil on top of the roots also has a negative effect on the health of the tree. So at least from the perspective of tree health and risk management, everything is negative.
The tree won't destroy all your hard work, but you might destroy the tree.
