I'm always cold, especially when I'm sitting. Waiting rooms, church, restaurants, meetings, you name it. The problem with church is that nothing I wear is warm enough. I wear pants, boots or booties with socks, a shirt/blouse with a cardigan or suit jacket over it. And I'm still cold. Sometimes I carry in my heavy coat to wear, even though I probably look like an idiot when it's summer. That isn't even always warm enough and my feet are still cold. My ideal church attire would be a heavy sweatshirt, jeans, Uggs with wool socks underneath, and a heavy coat or blanket to wrap around myself.
Wraps aren't warm enough, shawls aren't warm enough. Sometimes I wish I could wear gloves or mittens! So, outside of always bringing in my heavy winter coat, a snuggie, or a quilt, any other ideas on how to stay warm? And no I won't ask them to change the temperature. I'm always the one freezing, not everyone else. And yes, I have been checked by the doctor and I'm fine. I'm just always cold. I don't wear shorts much: I always wear capris because my legs get cold. And forget cute strappy sandals: my toes freeze when they're not covered.

I completely understand what you mean. My doctors kept testing my thyroid for years (normal) then one day, a new doctor, had the idea to check my iron levels. Doh! Low as could be! Supplements helped a lot.
Other than that, maybe get some of those pocket warmers you can put in your shoes and pockets for church?
This! I am always so cold, but when the doctors checked my iron levels they were very low. I take supplements as well and they do help. Try them.
