Happy Easter!!! What are your plans for today?
Easter is my favorite holiday. It's also my Dad's birthday so we are hosting him, step-mom, brother and his fiance for early dinner.
I'm hoping they leave fairly early so I can have some to relax tonight!

I'm kinda sad this Easter....
DH is working 1-10pm and my parents are in Vegas visiting my sister. So it's just me and ds today.
We already hunted for eggs and found the easter basket. Maybe we can take a nap today lol

happy Easter!
we are going to late church and then having friends over for a late afternoon Easter meal (and to watch the end of the Master's). i do know that i'm looking forward to the dinner: DH is an awesome cook, there are some great veggie dishes planned to go with the Bourbon/brown sugar glazed ham planned and i bought two great bottles of pinot noir from a favorite winery in Oregon we visited a few years ago.
DS has already opened his Easter gift: a big Tonka truck that DH had carrying the Easter basket with all of the candy. it was cute how he discovered it. it never quite goest the way you expect it.

DH and I are spending a quiet Easter at home...just the two of us, (and the dogs), and no long drive. We've eaten some candy and spoken/texted a few relatives already.
In a few minutes we will be having mimosas and he's making breakfast now. Later today he's going to make deep fried artichoke hearts and stuffed mushrooms, and we're making our Easter dinner (vegetarian) together.
We may set up our outdoor table and trim the neighbors' ugly vine with yellow flowers that hangs over our back fence, since it is yard waste recycling week. I hate that thing, and it is all that I see when I look out the back door.
Happy Easter!! We went to church with BIL and 6 year old nephew. They and SIL are heading over here for brunch once 9 month old nephew wakes up from his morning nap.
We're going to have an egg hunt for 6 year old nephew,eat roast Peeps and maybe watch Star Wars since he FINALLY wants to. We've been trying to get him to watch it for 2 years!
