Portable treats for event?

I volunteered to make some food for an event for a nonprofit I work with. Usually we do cookies, but they're requesting anything this time. It's post work appetizers, essentially. It just needs to be something that's portable, that I can leave there (I'm not coming back to collect any dishes) and doesn't need to be kept hot. Any suggestions? I have some of those puff pastry cups to use up (but it would have to be something that was OK cold). Maybe some candied nuts or something?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Portable treats for event?

  • When are you going to be able to make/assemble it? Those cups can get soggy after sitting.  If you'll be assembling close to the event, I made one with a little Greek yogurt, a bit of raspberry Chipolte sauce (something random I had from world market), some bacon (I used the real bacon bits that they sell already cooked), and a shrimp.  Everyone just raved about them.  I don't know how fancy you want to go but vegetable pizza always goes over well and is easy to make a lot of.
