Sunblock help
I was bit by a dg this weekend on my lip. I got 6 stitches.I need sunblock. I posted on F&B and nobody answered. Any suggestions?

oh my gosh, ouch!! Bit right on the lips, that's terrible!
I am not too sure, I guess I would just try to stay out of the sun altoghether until the stitches get the skin closed up. I like to use Burts Bees chapsticks because they are all natural and have SPF but I am not sure if they are okay for open wounds.

I would honestly say that until the stiches are out, I wouldn't put anything on them, including lipstick. It is leaving you too open to infection. If you absolutely have cannot avoid being out in the sun, I would wear a big hat that actually covers your face.
