Need to hide under the deck
Hello it's been a long time since I posted here. I want to hide the ugliness under our deck there are some old bricks, the steps that were used to get in before the deck and it's just all together horrible to look at. We tried lattice and you can still see through it to the rubble and two of the tree sides are on some sort of concrete so I can't plant shrubs all around. Any ideas of something else to use?

Re: Need to hide under the deck
my hubs built this two tiered planter in front of our porch. I am sure you can tweak the dimensions to that it suits your needs.
P.S. I love your wedding gown.

And thanks for your compliment.
Nail a black "deck skirt" under the deck behind the lattice. You can use a roll of landscape fabric. Just pull it smooth and tack it up on the back of the lattice. Works like a charm.
EDIT: oh we also built a long planter box along the bottom of the lattice and planted a vine in it. Completely concealed.
Thanks NB - i would have never thought of a deck skirt.
