I am looking forward to my family reunion. These only happen once every three years and I am excited to see everyone again. Plus, my cousins are coming to stay with us before and afterwards and I can't wait to spend more time with them.
I am looking forward to running more. I think it's been November since I went on a real run - I just can't do it in the rain. So I am excited to get back out there and be a real runner again.
The last thing, and I say this one with a giant prayer in my mind, I am looking forward to setting up a classroom IF I get one for the next school year.
We just booked our beach trip! I am so excited about the place we got. We're going the week of Labor Day (is that still summer?) and it's a steal because kids are all back in school so the rates drop drastically. We got an ocean front room in a really nice condo building. DH and I have never been on just a plain old drive-to-the-beach trip together (lots of other types of trips though), so we keep talking about all the fun things we want to do. I think the anticipation is half the fun
I'm also looking forward to finishing this kitchen and moving on to other projects.
Spending lots of time in my backyard!
We went THREE years without grass so we never used the yard. We finally got grass and sprinklers put in April/May of last year but because of my Grandpa's illness and passing we didn't do any entertaining at all. This year I'm looking forward to BBQs and also solo time snuggling in my chair with a book.
Sitting on the steps drinking a beer and grilling!
For the first time in like five years I have a pretty low key, no big deal summer planned!
Last summer I was pregnant, the summer before major farm construction, the summer before I was stressed and pregnant with Hope, the summer before that more farm construction and the year before that we got married...lol.
I am looking forward to our youngest daughter visiting from Japan. Sort of.lol
She's really mostly coming to photograph her art and deal with her visa. Anything/anyone else is just a bonus. She's already started being kind of a pita, with requests for us to arrange things that just can't happen in the short amount of time she will be here.
I would much rather have taken her art to her in Japan. ;p
Cruise to Alaska with a few extra days in Seattle thrown in before the trip.

Returning to St. Thomas for second honeymoon and closing on our house in July.

Our wedding blogged! (Click Brad & Briana on the right side)
Hopefully finalizing our house sale (yes, still - since before Christmas) and being out from under this financial yuck.
I've got some great open-water swims lined up, so I'm looking forward to those.
Our 5th aniversary is in July. I'm hoping we'll be able to afford a weekend trip to Portland or Napa or somewhere other than here.
Otherwise, I'm looking forward to relaxing on our deck, possibly making an offer on a house, and entertaining some of H's coworkers.
Spending the summer in the new big yard at our new house! We will have to live like we are broke, haha, but the yard has so much room for the boys to play that we can save a lot of money by not needing to go out anywhere.
The hard part will be thinking of all the plants I will want to buy to fill in the yard. The house has 4 raised beds already built so I think we can plant a lot of vegetables though. DS1 is really looking forward to that.
