Tell me more about this stripaerobics, I bought a groupon for 2 classes last year and then never ended up using it!
Do you practice your moves at home, either alone or for your H? Do you wear shoes in the class or is it barefoot?
What is the best part of the class, if you don't mind me asking?
May Siggy Challenge: Fave Band at the moment

Re: ***GLW****
I take three different types: Floor/Chair, Pole, and Sexy Stretch. Floor/Chair is like lapdancing plus pilates, Pole is pretty obvious, Sexy Stretch is more like yoga. They're all in a dance studio with a disco ball and loud music, and it's women-only.
I do show off my moves to MH
, but I don't need to "practice" necessarily. I also take yoga and dance classes every week, so I stay pretty stretched out all the time.
I wear 6" clear stripper heels. They are ridiculous! You don't wear shoes for Sexy Stretch, though. The shoes are actually pretty important because they help you climb the pole (otherwise your ankles can slip off easily) and my legs aren't long enough to go over the chair without super high shoes in Chair. It also makes sure that your toes are always pointed which is good for your stretching and also looks a lot better than flexed feet.
As for the best part of the class, it's a really good workout without feeling like a workout. The hour-long classes fly by and they're fun. Floor/Chair is basically an aerobics class plus pilates-- we do crunches on the chairs, lots of leg-lifts, etc. so you are getting a serious workout. You don't learn a "routine" or anything, it's designed to be exercise.
That is nice that there is a variety, I was thinking it was just strictly the pole dancing. You seriously make me want to sign up for these, they sound like so much fun and a good workout.
I can see the purpose of the shoes now, that makes sense about keeping the toes pointed and all that. I would think they would be hurting my feet after a while since I'm not a regular high-heel wearer, but I am sure you get used to them.
Thanks for the info!!
