Before & work-in-process roof/shutters [PIPs]

Roof in the front of house & bottom shutters are done.  What do you think so far?

  • Thanks for the comments.  It is so nervewracking to make decisions on a big investment like this.  Since we won't replace the roof again for about 25 years, that would be a long time to live with a mistake!

     sju- We haven't painted the door yet, it is just open in the 2nd picture and seems black.  We will be replacing the door and sidelights, but haven't selected a style or color yet... it was too tough so we decided to wait and see the roof and shutters and maybe that would help us decide on door, sidelights and hardware.  That will all be next, be prepared for several PIPs and polls =)
