Do you call an office you are going on an interview with to confirm the interview? They called me last Thursday to set it up, should I call to confirm or no? tia

Re: Not F&B related job interview question

  • I would not call to confirm.
  • No. That might be annoying depending on the industry. We generally do confirmations for interviews via email.

If you are truly worried for whatever reason, than I would email who set it up, but I would make it into a inquiry about location, parking ect.

If someone emailed me about location and parking I would be concerned about the candidate and their lack of ability to Google.

Depends on the place. I work on a large university campus in a city. We always email parking information to our candidates so they know what deck is closer ( and cheaper) to the office- otherwise it could be a 3 mile hike. My previous campus was even worse.
