I just read your post that you are 11 days away!! Congratulations!! How is everything going? Are you ready, or just ready to have it done and move forward with your lives?
I forget, are you taking a honeymoon right away, or waiting? Where are you going?
Some advice--remember to breathe and try and do a date night with your FI before then, and take any wedding related topics off the table for evening, and just enjoy each other!!

Re: **Sapphire** (WR)
I think everything's going pretty well. I think. haha! I've never planned an entire wedding before. There has been drama (guest RSVPed who wasn't invited, bridesmaid got a boob job after her final fitting, groomsman didn't follow instructions, grandmother trying to make the wedding about her, things like that). But considering all of that, I think I'm stay pretty sane! Although I am ready for it to be here and done and see my pictures!
We are taking a "mini-moon". We planned on going on a full-on honeymoon, but both of us getting laid off put a huge kink in our plans. Although I think it will work out better. We're working on getting a house and it probably wouldn't have been possible had we gone on a big honeymoon. We're driving 3 hours to a B&B just to get away for a couple of days.
Yeah, I'm ready for the wedding day - to see the last 8 months of planning come together!
Thanks for the advice! I think I'm doing a good job of not bombarding FI with wedding-talk. He might beg to differ.
Wow...sorry to hear about the shennegians going on. Hopefully that means that the wedding itself will run smoothly!
Your mini-moon sounds like it is going to be awesome and very relaxing!! Have fun!
Good luck with the house hunting and buying!!
The best advice I got about my wedding was this: Trust your vendors and let them do their job. They're the professionals. Sit back and almost be a participant on the day of.
And having performed my BIL/SIL's wedding, I think that's fantastic advice. Let us take care of you.
Thanks, Rev.
I trust the vendors, I just hope that the vendors that are also family will be professional when they're doing their part.
We're having a very "home-made" wedding. (Yes, I read TK's warnings of having family help, but I know it will all be worth it in the end!)
