YES to all of this article, and no thanks on me wanting to memorize the list.
I have no issues relating and understand the knotties since I came from TK to TN, but since I avoid the bump like the plague, it's hard for me to get all the code words and purpose of the siggies when people come here from TB. That place really is it's own little world and I never want any part of it, even IF I happen to get pregnant one day.
It's like a whole different language and I never understood the purpose of having a historic novel of jargon in the siggy, but I guess I'd best keep my thoughts about signatures to myself from now on. **ahem, lesson learned about nitpicking the petty things**
Anyhow, thought the article would be enlightening for those who were asking about the jargon, like sessionswedding and Milsey, when the Invasion of 2012 was happening. If you dare venture to the bumpie boards, this link will help.

I mean, I seriously can't be too annoyed or anything because starting on TK I had to get used to the lingo (even simple thinks like FI/SO/FH) - I'm generally terrible at assuming what acronyms mean.
Part of me is telling myself that this is good for my brain; it's like learning a new language. But part of me knows I probably won't use it myself (just read it and understand).
Luckily we don't use shorthand/acronyms too much and even if we do you can use context clues to figure out what it is, because I'm horrible with remembering stuff like that.
