As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Cat picking at couch
Our new cat keeps clawing our couches. She only does it at night when MH and I are upstairs in bed and can't immediately stop her.
I keep her nails trimmed and we have two scratching posts out for her. We keep throw blankets over the arms of the couch (which worked for our older male cat) but she manages to find uncovered spots.
Any ideas? Are the Soft Paws nail caps any good?

Our cat sometimes scratches the carpet and the couch. Feliway spray seems to discourage this -- I spray it directly on the couch and carpet.
Also, our cat *really* likes the corrugated cardboard scratchers. When she started scratching the carpet in a particular location, I put a new scratcher right there in that location -- and she stopped scratching the carpet.
