OK, I won't talk politics here, just straight up voting information.
Early voting is still possible Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, polls are open from 11-7 at the following locations:
City County Building downtown
J. Everett Light Career Center located on the campus of North Central High School, 1901 E. 86th St.
Southport Community Center, 6901 Derbyshire Rd.
On Monday, you can early vote at the City County Building ONLY from 8 a.m. - Noon.
Polls are open on election day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All experts are expecting EXTREMELY LONG LINES, so please give yourself plenty of time to vote this year. To find out whether you're registered and your voting location, call 327-VOTE or visit here http://imaps.indygov.org/PollingLocator/.
You will need a valid, government issued photo ID to vote. Your license or your passport will do just fine.
I'm sure all campaigns and candidates are still looking for volunteers, just show up at one of their headquarters. (google them, I'm sure you'll find someone you like!)
Have fun and enjoy election day, ladies!
Re: VOTING!
So sorry about that mess! I tried to delete (and was going to repost), but the Nest won't let me.
I also wanted to say that the information is for Indianapolis/Marion county voters. Check with your local clerks office website about early voting in your county if you're not in Marion. Sorry, I should've been more respectful to our non-Indy girls!
