I just got to hold a snake :-) (warning- snake related, lol)

My coworker came into my office to drop off a form and I noticed her lovely scarf...which then turned to look at me!

She is a ball python named Zida and beeeeautiful. She likes to put her face into my hair and her tongue ticked my ear, hee hee.

  • how cool!

I would totally hold a pet one, they don't freak me out too bad.   I like the way it feels when the slither around you, it's ticklish and weird!

  • I totally couldn't do that, snakes give me the heebie-jeebies!
  • It's finally warm, so I wish I could bring my python to work! The girls in here would lose it though. Very cool that she carries her around with her... Is the snake full grown?

  • While that's cool and all my main question is - she can just wear/bring her pet to work? Awesome!

No, she is pretty small, maybe 2 feet long? Her head is only 2". She actually belongs to a student in the ceramics dept., my coworker is the studio tech there and takes care of the snake while the student is in class.

Yes, our whole campus is pet-friendly. Pets can go everywhere except the cafeteria and the computer labs. Right now my office is the only one on the hall without a dog in it (I don't have a dog).
