I have cold feet! This Saturday I have my first appointment with the new colorist. And I'm scared. I've had such terrible experiences in the past, particularly with colorists trying to put in lowlights... they end up a hot mess... .at least my current girl knows how to do them.... <sigh> Now I'm thinking maybe I would possibly regret switching and I am questioning if it is worth a try or not... how could I go back to the current girl if I end up not liking this new girl? I've been liking my hair the last few weeks.... and it's confusing me.. haha! Maybe I am being too picky. Let me show you my current hair, and a few inspiration pictures of what I want.... then tell me what you think.. if I am being too picky and should just stick with her and keep trying.
PS - I tried to put the pics in the post but they come out huge.

**Maybe not so much that Kate Hudson pic. But I love Kristen Bell's hair. And yes I took a picture of my tv... lol.
Re: Cold feet!
Hmmm...
Your hair is more of a cool toned blonde and all the pictures you gave as examples are more golden. I've found a lot of times going from a cool toned blonde to a warm blonde sometimes ends up looking a bit too orangey or blonde. Not that it can't be done, but I think it's tricky. I've had a couple of friends do this and they weren't happy with it. It took a few rounds to get it where they wanted it to be. That being said, I think Kristen Bell's hair color would look nice on you.
**I meant to say too orangey or brown, not blonde.
My hair is more warm toned in person than it looks in natural lighting pictures. But should I stick with her?? The last pic her hair is more cool toned than the others. Its so funny how every pic can look different. I just took a picture of my hair in my office and it's definitely more golden!
I might have missed a post, but how come you are going to a new girl and not sticking with the other girl?
I remember your big ordeal trying to get your hair color right when you were in Monterey (is that right?). So I'd be nervous too.
Personally I'd give your current girl another chance (I don't remember the whole story), before switching to someone new. Just be very clear about what you want.
If you do try this new girl and aren't happy, when you go back to the old girl, tell her you went somewhere else because someone got you a gift card or something.
I was going to try a new one because I keep showing her the Kristen bell pic but I feel like it's not making it there. Maybe its just not possible...
