NDR: Purses Yay or Nay?

I need a new purse. Something smaller than the diaper bag sized thing I'm toting around right now.  I usually like fun colored purses.  The one I've got now is a bright lime green, but I found these today, and I kind of like them even though they're very neutral.  What do you guys think?  Too grandma-ish?

They're pretty blah in my opinion. It does bring to mind someone trying to imitate the pricey Coach and Louis Vitton patterns (which personally I don't care for either). If you want neutral, how about something in classic black?

Eh, I don't care if they look knockoff-ish.  I'm not into name brand bags anyway.  How do you feel about the general style?

It doesn't bother me they're look alikes. Complete ripoff with a fake label is another story, but if it's overstock you're probably safe in that dept.

I don't like them though. Not bad. They just seem too stuffy for me, but I lean pretty casual.

I just got a bright pink hobo looking bag at TJMAXX if you're into that.

I think I'd like them better in a solid or other pattern.

I checked at TJ Maxx the last time I was there (2 weeks ago) and they didn't have squat.  I was super disappointed.  I have admit, I haven't really checked at Target in a while.  Maybe they have something cute, and not giant.  Right now my issue is having to reach down into my purse to fish for everything.  I want a smaller purse where everything is right at my fingertips.  I'm to the point how where if I have to run into the grocery store or Target I just grab my phone, wallet and keys because having to get it out of my current bag is too much of a hassle.

ITA.  I think this is my issue with them.  I like the shape, but the color sucks.

WOP! Have you been by a JCP or a Herberger's lately? JCP has some cute ones. Herberger's always has a great lineup of NineWest which is cute and affordable!

I haven't really shopped (away from my desk) in forever.  We do have JCP.  I'll check there this weekend!  Thanks!
