Good FHA information
I've been stressing hardcore about our FHA appraisal (it already happened, they noted that peeling paint needed to be scraped and re-painted as it's an old house). We took care of the paint over the weekend. Today they appraiser came out to re-evaluate but the owner's dog was in the backyard and the appraiser wouldn't go in until he had the OK to do so. So now we're waiting, waiting as usual.
Anyway, while searching online I found this article and thought it might help some of you involved in the FHA loan process. This is really good information about appraisals and requirements.
