painted curtains
Is this a good idea?
I have chocolate brown curtains in my living room. I wanted something brighter or at least different. Should I try to paint stripes or some sort of design on them? In white/cream, or some other color?

Re: painted curtains
It is much harder to paint a light color onto dark than it is to paint dark onto light and make it look good.
What about adding some sort of trim or ribbon, or even a fabric border?
