ISO Tomato/Spaghetti Sauce
I'm looking for a flavorful red sauce for traditional spaghetti that is relatively simple - can be done a week night. Meat sauces are ok.
Does anyone have one to share?
Thanks!!

DH and I LOVE this one...

I always add ground hamburger to it along with extra seasoning, bellpepper, onion, a little hot sauce and some grated parmesan. It's good as just a marinara sauce too. I made a huge batch of each to freeze.
I love this one!
Zesty Tomato Sauce
Makes about 6 1/2 cups
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tablespoon minced freshly parsley
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
