Can paint stores do this?
After a dozen samples, I finally found a gorgeous paint color (thanks to the pp re: Martha Stewart's Plummage). However, it is just too dark in my guest bedroom. I love the shade/undertones... I just want it less intense. Can they do that calculation? I don't really trust HD or Lowes so I'm thinking more like SW.
So if it's parts (I'm totally making this up and don't know how it really works):
40 Raw Umber, 4 black, 12 maroon
And I want the same shade but 75% less intense:
10 Raw Umber, 1 black, 3 maroon
Does it work that way? Google is no help. Or I'm not searching the right terms.
