We had a temp boss at work for about 6 mos. His last day is Friday, and I want to make him something. Usually I would just do some dessert and bring it to work, but he has been doing Nutrisystems and has lost a lot of weight. I know some other girls bought his truffles which he ate, but I don't want him to be upset or not eat what I make. Any ideas for something to bring? Am I over thinking this? A healthier dessert, maybe, or just stick with a regular dessert? Recipes would be a great help. TIA!

Re: Food ideas for boss
You're sweet, but I think you're overthinking this
If he's doing nutrisystem then he's probably learning portion size and control so a normal dessert should be fine. But if you want to be sensible (and I think that's awesome!) what about a simple angel food cake with fresh strawberries?
