Tell me what to read next

J and I got a Kindle Fire recently.  And I kind of love it.  It was our compromise since we weren't going to spend the money on an IPad, but we both wanted a tablet and a Kindle, so yeah.  ANYway.

I just finished reading The Help (yeah I know, behind the times here, but I have two little ones!) and then tonight finished Divergent (it was just "meh."  I'll read the next book in the series, but I wasn't hooked on it like I was with the Hunger Games).

So recommend something you've liked recently.  Fiction, nonfiction, whatever.  No Game of Thrones for me tho - I have the actual book - the first in the series - and I just cannot get into it.  What else ya got?

The best books I've read lately are the Rachel Cohn/David Levithian ones - Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist was good, but the other two - Dash & Lily's Book of Dares and Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List were so, so cute. Nothing life changing or anything, but really cute, easy to stop & start again books.

I also like the House of Night Series. 

I'm currently reading the Fallen series, but I really don't like it.

Once I get through Catching Fire &  Mockingjay, I am going to order the Fifty Shades of Gray series. It's a 3-part series. Came highly recommended by my bff. That's all I've got at this point. Can't wait to be on the cruise ship in a month so I can do some serious reading!

I loved Fifty Shades of Grey. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I couldn't put the thing down! It get's a bit explicit, but hey.. it is what it is. Keep in mind that it's under "romance" but it's not the regular kind of romance with flowers and craap. I need to order the other 2, because book 1 leaves you hanging. You're kinda like.. "uh, what next?!?"

I have the original PDF of the Shades of Grey books (it was originally a twilight fan-fic, which I didn't know but LOL'd when I started reading it).  I read a sample of the first book and it's identical, save for the name changes and some editing to make the reading smoother.  I contemplated buying the books because of this, but haven't decided yet... dunno if I wanna spend $30 when I have it for free... but it IS hard for me to get past reading the names Bella and Edward etc etc and not picture the annoying twilight characters.  Boo.

I had no clue! I never got into the Twilight novels, mainly because of the $hit grammar and sparkling vampires. Funny how she turned a vampire story into a BDSM novel LOL

I have the mobi files of all three of the Fifty Shades of Grey series if you want them. Also HIGHLY recommend Delirium and Pandemonium - SO GOOD! I also read "Room" recently which was good about a boy who has only ever lived in one room with his mom, or "Escape" by Carolyn Jessup who escaped from the FLDS.
