Has anyone else, who has a blog, gotten a comment from Mytilebacksplash.com only to have it be an ad? I did not buy my tile from them and they just went ahead and posted a comment...ad rather, thanking me for using their products. Maybe I'm over reacting but I just am not cool with this. I replied back in my comments and emailed them telling them to pay me if they want to advertise on my blog. Not to mention the fact that hardly no one even reads my blog except for my family/friends and a handful of you ladies. Eventually I'll just delete it but for now I like to complain.

Hahaha they emailed me back and said something to the effect of uhh why don't you delete it. Well Jim Thompson, Because I like looking like a psycho! I'm just having fun really. It's cool, Jim.

We haven't, but we also have comments setup for moderation first.

I would just delete it.  There's a ton of spammers out there sadly.

I think I might set it up for moderation. I get so few comments that I get excited when I finally do get one.

FYI you have a typo in your rant comment

I have all my comments set for moderation and wordpress does a pretty good job of marking ones they think are spam.

I get tons of spam comments on my blog like that.  I just delete them.
