self tanner and foundation ?

do you put self tanner on your face? if so, do you use a darker foundation?

I put self tanner on my face.  I always apply it at night before I go to bed.  Usually, once I get some color, I am able to reduce the amount of foundation I use.

I wouldn't get a darker foundation, unless it's making your face a lot lighter than your neck/chest.  I'd just find something that's more sheer, or use a tinted moisturizer.

I've used that Sephora spray i told u about lightly on my face to blend w my neck and stuff. In the past before i discovered the spray, i just use my tinted moisterizer (laura mercier) and bronzing powder (also laura mercier).

thanks guys! i was at target this morning so i bought the jergens natural glow for the body and the one for the face. i also bought some elf tinted moisturizer. i bought some elf eye shadow too but when i picked up the giant laundry detergent out of the cart to put it on the belt apparently i had smashed it (oops). i was like yeah i don't think i want this eye shadow anymore. lol j/k. i fessed up and the guy was fine.

ahhh, late to the post, i know.  but yeah, I use self tanner (jergans) at night sometimes if i'm feeling pasty.  But generally don't go darker with the foundation....since it's not a drastic difference.

Altho, does anyone else hate the smell?  I know I can't be the only one 

 i scrubb & scrub in the shower in the morning, but sometimes i can still get a wiff of it....during the day

LOL - sometimes if i use it at night, i'll warn bill b4 bed & tell him that i "went tanning" so he doesn't think that's just my stink!!
