Does the iPhone battery start to lose its charge after
A period of long use.
Ive noticed with most of my smartphone I have had, that once I'm getting close to the 1 or 2 yr mark the battery starts to quickly lose its charge even after a full night of charging. So I end up buying a replacement battery. But you can't do that with the iPhone.
Ive also have had my touchscreen lose their sensitivity to where I have a very hard time answering the phone.
So my question is does this occur with the iPhone.
ive had the palm pre, the bb storm, and right now have the Samsung fascinate.

Re: Does the iPhone battery start to lose its charge after
Yes, after long periods of use, the battery will lose its ability to hold a charge. I have found that the battery's ability to hold a charge usually lasts until I am eligible for the new iPhone at which time I just upgrade (about 2 years).
Losing the ability to hold a charge is typical with batteries. You can still replace an iPhone battery but you can't just do it yourself (well you can but not easily and not recommended for the average person).

I have an apple iphone from last year and its battery is still working fine. Generally I used it for everything which I want.

You can get replacement batteries for the iPhone. Dh got one on ebay. Google how to install it, there are photo tutorials online.
My iPhone is almost 3 years old and mine still holds a charge fine. Just make sure all apps open in the background are closed (double press home button and close everything open in the bar that pops up at the bottom), and make sure your wifi is turned off (when it's on it will be constantly searching for networks and signal).
Wow seriously?
Mine doesn't last longer than a day and it's almost brand new. I dont really use it during the day but I use it in the evening. It seems to die really quickly....
check to see if you have any streaming apps. It's probably some of the apps you use that typically zap battery life. Make sure you are closing them out, too. Double click the home button and a dock at the bottom with minus sign comes up. Hit all the minus signs.
Also, make sure you don't have bluetooth turned on. That will constantly search for a signal draining battery. Find it in settings.
streaming apps are things like GPS apps, Spotify, Netflix. They keep running, slowly, in the background just like a computer program. Just like you close out a computer program like word or spottily, you close out the apps on your phone.
