PIP - which curtains?

DH and I disagree. One of us likes the green & brown, the other likes charcoal grey. The charcoal grey has lines of lighter grey throughout it. The blue/brown curtains cost 2.5x the amount of the charcoal curtains but could be hung at the ceiling.

It's hard to tell since your first pic is so dark, but I like the second (wavy) pattern curtains. More fun, less formal, makes the space seem more open to me. From the closeups, the wavy one also appears to be more voluminous.

Thanks! I brightened the first picture.

It is a tad more voluminous but mostly that is just because it's 2 feet too long. Once hemmed it wouldn't be much different. I like the wavy one, DH hates it.

Wavy.  The striped ones look very... heavy.  Dour.  Serious.  Kind of out of proportion with the window and the room.

wavy, hands down. The striped ones are NMS - they seem out of date & boring.

Thanks everyone. I actually really like the charcoal ones too. I just find them too dark for the room. I am going to put them in our bedroom.

I like the stripes. Maybe it's the close up pic but the wavy ones give me anxiety lol!
