Depends on whether DH feels like eating when he wakes up from his migraine.  If yes, then this pasta, if no, I'll have the leftover shrimp and grits from last night.  But I hope he gets up soon (and feels better of course), because I am starving!!

DH is going out of town for a week and he requested grilled cheese & tomato soup - easy and comforting.

How did the fried rice turn out?  Pretty much every recipe I've tried from SK has been nothing short of amazing.  Plus, I've been on the lookout for a great fried rice recipe!

We had cheese, crackers, bread, fresh fruit, olives, etc.  It was a nice light dinner to follow a couple of heavier ones the past few days.

We are going out to a sports bar with my sister and her fiance tonight for dinner.

I'm hoping to try something different to make for dinner tomorrow night.  The Oven Baked Siracha Chicken from yesterday's blog update is sounding tempting.  H just wants something with sticky white rice because a friend of ours just gave us chopsticks he brought back from China.

I will be making a butt-ton of vanilla bean buttercream tonight so I think we're ordering Jimmy Johns or pizza from a local joint!

How did the fried rice turn out?  Pretty much every recipe I've tried from SK has been nothing short of amazing.  Plus, I've been on the lookout for a great fried rice recipe! 

It was so, so good - of course!  I used a lot less oil, didn't fry the ginger and garlic separately from the leeks, and used more leeks.  It ended up being a great dinner.
